Welcome to December at The Country Quilter!

It has been good to welcome people back to the classroom, and to see all the projects that have been completed during the lockdowns. Hopefully, we will be able to enjoy the holiday this year with family and friends.

Check out the following classes and workshops, sure to interest you…

Sew Days are planned for Tuesday December 7 and 14. Come and work on finishing some of the projects you are planning to give as gifts, or to enjoy working with others. Binding can be fun when done while chatting with friends!! There are two classrooms available to be used.

The Touch Quilt workshop has been moved to Saturday January 15. Make a resolution to come and donate a few hours to make a quilt that will bring a sense of calm to someone with dementia or autism. All materials and instruction are provided in the class.

Machine Applique Class will continue Saturday, January 8, from 10:30 to 12:30. There will be a new project with a cute little gnome each month. New participants welcome to join the fun.

Beginner Quilting: Refresh your quilting skills and see the latest tools to make your quilting a success. This is where to learn the basics of quilt making. The project is a table or bed runner and will include all the skills you need to complete a quilt. Starts Saturday, January 22, from 10:30 to 12:30 for five classes.

All participants in classes must show proof of double vaccination.

The Country Quilter will be closed from Thursday, December 23 until Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

We wish you a safe and happy time with friends and family, and look forward to seeing you in the new year.
