September 2022 at The Country Quilter!

As fall comes there are lots of new events happening at The Country Quilter!

September 24 will be our first Art of Fabric Show and Sale. This show will feature less traditional, original works of art. You are invited to come and enjoy the show 10:30 – 2:00 at The Country Quilter, admission is free. It is also an opportunity for you to purchase an original piece of art.

NEW HOURS!!!

The shop will be open longer hours starting September 6, open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 9:30 – 2:00.

The popular monthly clubs continue:

Knotty Girls September 9, 10:00 – 12:00

Gnomes September 10, 10:00 – 12:00

Wool Applique September 21, 10:00 – 12:00.

Finishing School: Each Tuesday, 9:30 – 12:00, is an open day for you to come and work on your projects with other quilters. There is lots of advice available!

New Events include:

Tuesday September 13 & 14 are Sew Days when you can come and sew with friends. Leave your project overnight so you are ready to start in the morning. This would be an opportunity to finish up your summer challenge for the Guild!

Tuesday, September 20, 10:00 – 12:00 a Paper Piecing table or bed runner (or quilt) class begins. Check out the star pattern. It would make a unique Christmas runner.

Friday, September 30, 10:00-12:00. Jane has designed an original hanging for her next crumb class. It uses up your small scraps for the background and features the Peace tower and a fall maple leaf. She is calling it a Crumbie Maple Leaf!!
