Hopefully, all the April Showers will bring us lots of May flowers and sunshine!  Spring is a time of renewal, so stitch up some new placemats, table runners, pillows, or a lap quilt to brighten up your décor. New fabrics have arrived for your projects.

Join our Tuesday Finishing School for a fun morning with fellow quilters. Ideas are exchanged, projects started, and some are even finished. Just drop in.

Jane Roszell will show you ideas for different Edge Finishes on your quilts, Wednesday, May 24. Bring along your quilts for ideas and suggestions to enhance the finished project. 

Join Grace for a Circle Challenge on Friday, May 26. She has named this adventure Just Fooling Around or Running in Circles! Lots of ideas will be provided to challenge you, as well as instruction for quilting your masterpiece. There will be monthly meetings to keep you running in circles!

Knotty Girls with Lynne is on Friday, May 12, from 10-12pm.

Wool Applique with Lynne and the Woolies, is on Wednesday, May 17, 10-12pm. 

Landscape class with Grace is on Friday, May 26, from 10-1pm. 

Tuesday, May 30 and Wednesday, May 31^, Jane will present a workshop for the much-needed Touch Quilts used by persons with dementia or autism. Please consider donating a few hours to help with this project for people in need. Quilts are donated to long term care units and to special needs children in schools. All the fabric and supplies for the quilts is provided and the class is free. Come one day or both.  If you know of someone who might use a quilt, please contact the shop. The quilts are free.

Remember the Garden Quilt Show Saturday, June 17, 10 – 2. Although more trees fell in the recent ice storm, we hope to display lots of quilts. There will be some quilts and crafts for sale. Bring your scissors and knives to be sharpened and browse the used book sale for charity.    

Admission is free, but a donation to the Richmond food bank is appreciated.
