How did we get to the end of October? 🎃

It has been an amazing fall with lots of sun, blue skies and colourful autumn leaves. Somehow time has moved on and there are only 7 weeks until Christmas! All those gift ideas need to be started. New placemats, table runners and pillows can update your holiday decor.

Be sure to sign up for our day of ornament making Nov. 26. Make some unique decorations and enjoy holiday goodies. These make special little gifts that are fun to give or to hang on your tree.

There is a Sleep at Home Retreat Friday and Saturday, Nov. 28 & 29.
Two days of sewing fun with Tracy. A good time to work on those holiday projects.

Our outreach projects continue with a Smile Quilt workshop on Wed, Nov. 12. In the last year we have donated 205 quilts to Youville, Ottawa Youth Services and several shelters. These quilts are given to the residents and are much appreciated.

Jane will do a Touch Quilt workshop on Wed, Nov. 19. These quilts are donated to long term care units for dementia patients. Think about donating a few hours to help with these projects.

Knotty Girls is Thurs, Nov. 13, Wool Applique on Thurs, Nov. 20 and Landscape Class on Thurs, Nov. 27. Always welcome!

As we are closed Nov. 11 in the morning to honour our veterans and those who serve, we will be closed all day.
