Septembers’s Workshops and Classes:
Beginner Quilting: Join Tracy for this traditional beginner class. Make a table runner or wall hanging from start to finish. Sept 23, 9:30 – 11:30am for 5 classes.
Small Quilt Challenge: Don’t forget your small quilt! They are due in the shop by Sept 25, any theme, any technique. The perimeter must not exceed 60″ (a 12″ square quilt works just fine!).
September’s On-going Monthly Clubs:
Finishing School: Every Tuesday, from 9:30-noon. Just drop in with your project and enjoy the company of other quilters! You can knit or do other crafts as well as quilting, all welcome!
Knotty Girls! Thursday, Sept 10th, 9:30-11:30. This is a class for hand stitching projects. Lynne continues to have new ideas and patterns. The block of the Month snowman patterns are still available.
Smile Quilts! Wed, Sept 16th, 9:30 – 2pm. Come along and work on lap quilts that are donated to shelters. Febrics are provided as well as ideas for patterns.
The Woolies! (Wool Applique Club!) Thurs, Sept 17th, 10-noon. Lots of different wool applique patterns are being worked on. a good way to get ideas and to be motivated.
Landscape Quilts! Thurs, Sept 24, 10 – 12pm. Jane will cover many different techniques to help create your landscape. Begin with a photo or picture that inspires you!
***Don’t forget that Fiona is hard at work quilting on the long arm machine upstairs. Let her quilt for you! This is a great way to get some of those quilt tops done. She is here to meet customers on Tuesdays. It is best to make an appointment. Call 613 838-5541.***
