April 2024’s Upcoming Classes and Events:

Sleep at Home Retreat! Tracy will be hosting another fun event on April 5th and 6th. Come and sew all day, leave everything and come back on Sat to continue. Lunch is included.

Touch Quilt Kits: Touch Quilt Kits are available to pick up at The Country Quilter; these small quilts are easy to make and always needed. Jane will be hosting a workshop for these quilts on April 10, from 9:30 -2pm. All supplies are provided and it is a fun day with other quilters.

Quilt as You Go Table Runner: This is an easy to create new spring runner for your table. It makes a great shower gift too! Join us on Wed, April 24th from 9:30 – 1:30.

Smile Quilts are made for the Children’s Aid Society, to be given to children entering the system, Apparently, they receive things for babies more often than for older children; they have requested quilts for children age 4 to 17. Quilts can be 40 x 48”, up to twin size. There is a workshop once a month when ideas, fabrics, orphan blocks and other wonderful things from stashes are shared and used. Since January of this year, over 20 quilts have been donated to the CAS. Donations of quilts may be brought to The Country Quilter for the next pick up. Join the work day too! Next one is Friday, April 26th from 9:30 – 1:30pm..

April’s 2024’s Ongoing Clubs:

Finishing School! Join our popular Tuesday morning Finishing School to sew with friends. It is an opportunity to see what people are working on and to get new ideas. Drop in anytime between 9:30-12pm. Cost: $3.

Knotty Girls! These lovely lively ladies meet the second Friday of each month, with the next session being held Friday, April 12th from 10-12. Always full of inspiration! New members are welcome. Cost: $10

Landscape Group! Friday, April 19th from 10-1pm. This group is creating beautiful fabric landscapes. Jane is always willing and able to inspire and assist. Cost: $10

Wool Appliqué! Join us on Wednesday, April 17th from 10 -12 for our next ‘Wild and Woolie’ Wool Applique get together. Bring your latest show and tell. Cost: $10
