March is a happy month as daylight savings time and the first day of spring both come! Hopefully not too much more snow will come!

The Smile Quilt workshop has been producing quilts that are given to several shelters in the area. 16 have been donated since Christmas. Hopefully they bring smiles to faces!
Think about joining this group. It is a fun day quilting with others. Most people take things home to work on during the month. There is fabric available in the workshop. The next workshop is March 11, 9:30-2pm.

Knotty Girls meet on March 12, 9:30-11:30am.

Landscape class is March 19, 10-1pm. Those who are thread painting are welcome to join this class.

Wool Applique meets March 26, 10-12pm.

Sleep at Home Retreat March 27&28, 9:30-3pm each day. Set up your project and sew all day, leave it and continue on the next day. Meals and snacks are included.

The Beginner class is finishing up on March 7. Lots of learning and fun has taken place in this session. Great results too! The next Beginner class will start on Wed April 1st, 10-12pm for 6 classes. This is a fun way to catch up on the latest techniques.

On April 16th there will be a pop up wool shop. They carry all the wool, threads and patterns for wool Applique. They have kits assembled to help with your choice.  Come and meet the ladies from Upper Canada Quilt Works 10 until noon April 16.
