The Knotty Girls will meet on Friday, January 12, and Wool Applique on Wednesday, January 17. Finishing School (beginning Jan 9th) is a drop in on Tuesday mornings, from 9:30 t0 12:00. Bring along your project to work on.

Friday, January 19, rom 10:00 to 1:00 will be the beginning of the Landscape Class for this year. Bring along a photo or two as inspiration for your project. In the first class, you will make a plan to work from. If you have fabrics that you think might work, bring these along too. Jane will introduce many techniques to make your project come alive!

Family Ties: This is a project designed to use those ties hanging at the back of the cupboard or ones you choose from the thrift shop. You will receive the paper pieced pattern in the class. You can make a cushion or a quilt. Saturday, January 27, 9:30 to 1:00 and Saturday, February 10, 10:00 to 12:00.

Log Cabin: This is a good quilt for beginners and for those wanting to use up some of your scraps. Coming to class motivates you to get started! The project can be whatever size you choose. The sample is a table topper, but it can easily grow into a lap or bed quilt.  Wednesday, January 31, and February 14, from 9:30 to 1:00.

Watch for another challenge quilt with Fiona, coming soon.

Smile Quilts: This is an opportunity for you to donate your time to make a quilt for the Children’s Aid Society. These quilts will bring a smile to the face of a child entering the system. Bring along your machine, the fabrics will be supplied. The first meeting will be Friday, February 2, from 9:30 to 1:00. Class supply lists will be available to pick up when you register for the class.
