February at The Country Quilter!

January certainly has reminded us of what winter in Ottawa is like! But be glad that there are signs of better days to come. The sun is now setting after 5:00 p.m. and although we haven’t had many sunny days they are getting longer.

February is a busy month, but we have an extra day for quilting this year!

The usual clubs all have openings if you would like to join. It is always good to spend a couple of hours with other quilters. It is amazing what tips and ideas you can pick up and you can share your work with others too.

Finishing School is every Tuesday, from 9:30 – 1pm

Bring along your own projects to work on, leave it all out and come back to continue on with your quilting the next day. Lunch and snacks are included. You could use this time to make a quilt for the Children’s Aid if you don’t have a project ready.

Family Day Weekend the shop will be closed on Saturday, February 17th.

Touch Quilt Kits are available at the shop.

Happy stitching everyone!
