It is time to pull out the lap quilts and pull up the one on the bed as the cool fall days come.
The clothes line has filled with little quilts for the fund raising auction on Nov. 7th. Come and see how talented our quilters are!
Bidding for these little quilts will open on Oct. 13 and continue until Nov. 7 at 3pm when they will go to the highest bidder.
A sneak peak at the November 7th activities which will include:
– Charity Quilt Auction
– Crafts for sale for CANHAVE*
– African soup lunch
– Scissors & Knife sharpening (scissors, knives, garden tools, etc)
– In store specials
– Store samples for sale
*CANHAVE is a local registered charity that pays school fees for AIDS orphans in Uganda.

Sat Oct 3: Richmond Guild Sew Day at The Country Quilter, 9:30-3pm. Join the fun!
Oct 6, 9:30-1:30 Finishing School. Bring your own project. Every Tuesday.
Oct 8, 9:30-11:30, Knotty Girls Stitching. Join now and stitch a snowman quilt for winter.
October 10, closed for the Thanksgiving weekend. Enjoy fall, family and food!!
Oct 15, 10-12 Wool Applique. Every class is a display of talent and creativity.
Oct 17, 9:30-11:30: Beginner Quilting. There will be 6, two hour classes. The project is a table runner or place mats. Techniques will cover all you need to know to make and finish a quilt!
Oct 21, 9:30-1:30: Smile Quilting for charity. Donate your time to help make quilts that are donated to local shelters. Fabrics available.
Oct 24, 9:30-11:30 Beginner Quilting class 2.
Oct 29, 10-1 Landscape Quilting workshop. “You can do this! Honest!”
Oct 31, 9:30-11:30 Beginner Quilting class 3.
